DILLIN' AROUND

ABOUT THE PICKLE

WHO’S THIS PICKLE?

Dillin’ Around is a pickle-man sticker brand: buy the official pickle sticker, stick it somewhere you’re allowed to, snap a photo and send it in — approved sightings land on the Brine Map, a world map of where the pickle has been.

The face on the pickle? That’s Dillin, in pickle form, loose in the world and getting around.

HOW IT WORKS

FOUR STEPS. ONE PICKLE.

  1. BUY IT

Get the official die-cut pickle sticker from the Sticker Mule listing. Grab one, or a stack to hand out.

    Pick a pack
  2. STICK IT

Put it somewhere you’re allowed to: your own stuff, or a spot where the owner said yes.

    Read the ground rules
  3. SNAP IT

Take two photos: a close-up of the sticker and a wide shot of the area around it.

    Open the sighting form
  4. SEND IT

Send them in with the city. Once a sighting is approved, it lands on the Brine Map for everyone to see.

What is Dillin’ Around?

Dillin’ Around is a pickle-man sticker brand: buy the official pickle sticker, stick it somewhere you’re allowed to, snap a photo and send it in — approved sightings land on the Brine Map, a world map of where the pickle has been. The site also has a 30-second pickle arcade game, 80 free pickle drink recipes and pickle-art skate decks and snowboards in the works.

Where can I buy the pickle sticker?

On the official Sticker Mule listing; every buy button on this site goes there. It sells from a single sticker up, and the Pack Picker on the home page suggests packs of 10, 30, 50 and 100. This site doesn’t publish prices: you see the price at checkout on Sticker Mule.

Where should I put my sticker?

Somewhere you’re allowed to: your own stuff, or a spot where the owner has said yes. Never on private property without permission, and never on public property where stickers aren’t allowed. Dillin’ Around doesn’t direct or approve sticker placement. Buyers are responsible for where and how they use their stickers.

How do I submit a sighting?

Tap “Submit a sighting” on the home page, enter the city, state or region and country, add two photos (a close-up of the sticker and a wide shot of the area) and send it. A spot clue, a note and your Instagram handle are optional. By sending, you let Dillin’ Around share the photos and credit your handle.

Submit a sighting

Is my location private?

As private as the site can make it. The form asks for a city, state or region and country, never an address, and the map pin goes at the town center, rounded to two decimal places, never on the exact spot. Photo metadata such as GPS tags is removed in your browser before upload and again on the server before anything is stored. Nothing is public until it has been reviewed and approved. An approved sighting shows your two photos, the city, region and country, and your spot clue, note and Instagram handle if you added them, so leave out anything you don’t want public.

How long until my sighting shows up?

Every sighting is reviewed by hand before it goes public, so there’s no set time. Once it’s approved it joins the Brine Map and the live feed automatically. Sightings that aren’t approved stay private.

What is the Brine Map?

The Brine Map is the world map on the home page showing where the pickle sticker has been, at town level. It combines drops confirmed in @dillin_around posts with approved fan sightings. So far that’s 13 confirmed drops in 5 towns across 2 countries (USA and Japan).

What is Slap the Dill?

A free 30-second arcade game on the home page and in the Pickle Arcade. Pickle stickers pop up on a 3×3 board and you slap them before they vanish, chaining hits for a score multiplier. Slapping a NO STICKERS sign costs points. Play by tap, mouse or the number keys 1 to 9; your best score stays in your own browser. The arcade also has Catch of the Dill, Brine Match and Dilldle, a daily pickle word puzzle.

What happens to my email if I join a board waitlist?
