Extra Dirty Pickletini
Twice the brine. Zero apologies.
The Extra Dirty Pickletini is a vodka martini with a full ounce of dill pickle brine, double the Classic Pickletini, shaken hard and served up. It is saltier, cloudier and more savory than the Classic, with a frosty texture from the shake and cornichons and a pickle chip to finish.

How to make it
- Chill a martini glass in the freezer or with ice water.
- Add the vodka, pickle brine and vermouth, if using, to a shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 15 seconds.
- Strain into the chilled glass, letting a few ice shards slip through.
- Garnish with the cornichon pick and a pickle chip.
Bar tips
- Shaking instead of stirring gives this one its cloudy look and icy shards.
- Brines vary a lot in salt; if yours is very salty, start at ¾ oz and taste before adding the rest.
- Cornichon brine works too, but it is sharper and more vinegary, so use a little less.
Make it your own
- Go half pickle brine, half olive brine for a dirty-martini crossover.
Drink responsibly. This one is for adults of legal drinking age. Want it without the booze? The zero-proof drinks are just as briny.
